Here at Cinnamon, we love the creativity of the Church and are always looking for great church-led social action projects which can be replicated in other locations. Over the next few months we are searching the country for church-led initiatives that are supporting local people with housing needs and building community and are ready to scale up and share their model with other churches across the UK.
We will be shortlisting five finalists from a large number of applications and they will tell us about their work and their vision for growth at the Project Lab Final.
The finalists will present their initiatives to a panel of industry judges and invited guests in a bid to secure a place on the Cinnamon Project Incubator, where they will receive world-class one-to-one support and group coaching to help their initiative develop to a point where it can be replicated. In addition, two of the five projects will each be awarded a £30,000 development grant, which have been kindly provided by Mercers’ company, which will help support the replication of their organisation.
Members of the audience will also have the opportunity to pledge financial support to aid the replication of any or all of the finalists. Any project that receives funding in this way will secure a place in the Cinnamon Incubator.
This is the fifth year we have run the Cinnamon Project Lab competition and during the evening, previous winners will share their experience of competition and their journey over the past 12 months.
