Hope @ Pentecost is part of Hope Coventry, a charitable body which seeks to “grow a connected church that demonstrates the love of Jesus for the benefit of the City.”

The Hope @ Pentecost Event in 2016 will be another “Big Birthday Bash” in Broadgate on Saturday, 14 May from 11am to 3pm with an even larger marquee performance area and various family activity orientated stalls like face painting and crafts, and again we’ll be offering a free BBQ and hot and cold drinks.

We have 2 nights booked with Mike Pilavachi and leading us with praise and worship will be Tom Smith & Band, who are part of the team at Soul Survivor!

At Pentecost we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit when 3000 people in a single day came to understand and accept what Jesus had done for them, many consider this to be the birth of the church. Certainly a reason for a party! We want to share with you what we’re celebrating. It’s fantastic to meet together and express that we are one church in the city in many congregations.

During the day on Saturday day time event, there will be stalls celebrating family life and you can find out some of the ways Christians are helping families in Coventry and beyond. There will be live music and drama, FREE BBQ, FREE Tea Coffee & Cake, Face Painting, Messy Church, African drumming, Children’s activities, and Healing on the Streets.

We invite you to come on Fri 13 and Sat 14 of May 2016 to these events, and to pass this invite around your own friends, networks and congregations to ensure as many people as possible are included.
